Our first charity collaboration supporting Music Therapy!
Back in January, we had the pleasure of spending a few hours at Jak’s Den in Livingston with the Team Jak Foundation, where our first collaborated Music Therapy Sessions took place.
The sessions were run by the lovely and talented Angeliki.
Our first session took place with a young lady named Zoe. Zoe is one of the first young people to benefit from music therapy provided by Jak’s Den, so it seemed fitting that Paige’s Musical Butterflies was able to support this! We were treated to a lovely song by Zoe, accompanied by Angeliki on guitar.
Paige’s Musical Butterflies are both proud and honoured to be given the opportunity to work in collaboration with everyone at Team Jak Foundation - Jak’s Den, being able to see children and young people supported by music therapy has made us all immensely proud.
This opportunity continues to reinforce our values as a charity, and carry out the work that was so important to Paige’s throughout her journey. We look forward to bringing more stories and information as the therapies and collaboration continues to progress. This is the start of something wonderful with Team Jak Foundation, and we thank you for your continued support to make this collaboration possible.
